The Engaged Thrivor Mission
Our mission is to provide simple tools to reduce overwhelm, helping empower others after receiving a cancer diagnosis.
Our Story
At Engaged Thrivor, we understand that every cancer journey is unique, which is why we've dedicated ourselves to reducing overwhelm and empowering patients and their caregivers.
Born from our personal experiences, we thoughtfully created comprehensive workbooks and resources that serve as your companion throughout the healing journey. Each tool we develop incorporates essential checklists, meaningful reflection prompts, and carefully curated resources – all designed to support not only patients but also their caregivers, friends, and family members.
Drawing from our own journeys, we've focused on what we would have wanted to know early on in the process to ensure no one has to navigate alone.
Engaged Thrivor is all about providing resources to reduce overwhelm so you, or your loved one, can be a “thriving survivor”.
With much love,
Lydia Randolph
Meet our Founders
Antra Boyd
BSN, MSN, iRNPA
Antra's journey began in 1996 when she completed nursing school and entered the U.S. Navy, where she grew both personally and professionally. The Navy became her training ground, shaping her into a seasoned operating room nurse. She earned her nursing master's degree in 2014 and founded Connected Care Patient Advocates LLC in Portland, Oregon which helps individuals facing a challenging medical condition navigate the healthcare system.
In this deck, Antra shares not only her professional expertise but also personal insights gained through her own experience as a cancer survivor and thriver. Her unique perspective offers practical guidance, heartfelt encouragement, and a roadmap for navigating the challenges of a new cancer diagnosis. Antra's commitment to supporting individuals on this journey is not just a professional mission but a deeply personal one, driven by her own triumphs and lessons learned.
